Munich local transport and Deutsche Bahn trains

Refugees from the Ukraine can use local transport in Munich free of charge. Instead of a ticket, they show their Ukrainian passport at controls. The same applies to local trains operated by Deutsche Bahn . The “helpukraine” ticket is available for further long-distance journeys. It is available free of charge in the railway travel centers upon presentation of the Ukrainian identity card.
